Marketing Operations Manager

Implement and maintain the tools, systems and analytics to drive a rapidly growing sales and marketing organization.

We are building Redpanda, a real-time streaming engine for modern applications. Redpanda is used by Fortune 1000 enterprises pushing hundreds of terabytes a day, and by the solo dev prototyping a React application on her laptop. We go beyond the Kafka protocol into the future of streaming, with inline WASM transforms and geo-replicated hierarchical storage. In this role, we’re looking for a data-driven marketing professional to establish the lead lifecyle, execute day-to-day marketing initiatives, oversee the MarTech stack and guide the business with performance insights.

You will work closely with marketing and sales teams to implement the tools and systems crucial to supporting our growing business. You will be meticulous at analyzing campaign performance. You will get excited at the opportunity to own our operational systems (e.g., Salesforce.com, Pardot, GA, etc.) and to drive pipeline growth for Vectorized through digital marketing tactics.

You will

  • Establish and maintain the lead lifecycle, making incremental improvements as the team and business grows

  • Execute day-to-day marketing initiatives, including email sends, CRM updates, landing page creation, etc.

  • Implement and support the MarTech stack, including Salesforce, Pardot, GA, etc.

  • Lead, develop and manage the methodology and key performance indicators for marketing operations including email performance and campaign performance.

  • Play a role in planning and executing demand generation activities in collaboration with other members of the Marketing team.

  • Measure, analyze and report on the impact of marketing campaigns and related activities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on optimization strategies.

  • Execute our email marketing strategy and optimize performance for email marketing excellence and ROI.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot challenges with lead flow from a systems and business process standpoint.

  • Own reporting and communication of marketing impact, while building a clear understanding of demand gen goals, success metrics and impact across the organization.

You have

  • 3+ years’ experience working in operations, analytics, or a similar role

  • Experience with marketing automation systems (i.e., Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo)

  • Experience with Salesforce from a day-to-day operations and reporting perspective

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and optimization mindset.

  • Ability to escalate and communicate problems, along with solutions, to management and marketing team members.

  • Experience with database hygiene and excellence such as segmentation and measurement.

  • Maintain a learning and innovation mindset and the ability to understand concepts and system logic.

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

  • Self starter and excellent in self management, experience in working with remote teams.

  • Experience executing digital tactics to drive web traffic, lead conversion, and brand awareness.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile and deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong verbal communication and proven team collaboration skills.
